The Mildred Complex(ity) RENT DRESS project is a system in flux not following traditional industry procedures as most retailers. We are practicing intentional slow clothing protocols. Items are limited artist editions, one-of-a-kind, and collaborative projects that may quickly be unavailable each month. We are not following seasonal trends, nor are we following the industry calendar.

Each month a handful of garments, house wares, artist editions or other products emerge out of collaboration, and inventiveness with exactly one purpose in mind – to cover the overhead for projects at hand, underlining a cost for cost strategy.

Caroline Wallner is owner and designer at Tivoli Tile Works. She has been producing fine and collectable pottery since 1998. A trained sculptress and painter, the craft of pottery is the perfect synthesis of her two loves. Caroline lives between Upstate NewYork and the West Coast of Ireland with her husband and three daughters.
