Mildred’s Lane Renovating Walden (MLRW) is an ongoing project discoursing around Henry David Thoreau’s Walden, and other transcendentalists, culminating in a series of lectures, installations, essays, events, dinners, architecture, and costume. This is an installation view of one of two galleries of the Aidekmann Art Center at Tufts University. Two Thoreau house kits were conceptualized and one installed in the galleries. Since then, we have erected MLRW House Kit #1 at Mildred’s Lane in 2012, and now collaborating with the Concord Museum on house kit #2 to be realized in 2017 in Massachusetts.
