Installation view at the Museum of Modern Art, in New York; for the exhibition,
Century of the Child: MoMA Studio: Common Senses. Curators: Pablo Helguera, Laura Beiles, Sarah Kennedy.

This installation was an ever-unfolding event and period room environment extracted from theMildred’s Lane site – literally. The walls of MoMA were clothed in moldy Land Stains which I have cultivated for years. The furnitures are historic and contemporary collections from Mildred’s Lane. Creative practitioners of Mildred’s Lane and The Mildred Complex(ity) were invited to interact with the installation, in a series of what I call swarmings. These swarmings were ongoing during the duration of the exhibition, and also provided an opportunity to archive the detail and complexity that Mildred’s Lane Projects produce.  The archive, now installed at Mildred’s Lane, is ever-growing each year with rich involvements as ongoing swarmings.
